One of the security guards at my work is going to try and rent a building on the east side of town to host a place where teens and college kids can come hang out and listen to live music. Through a chain of people, he was referred to me, asking about local teen and college bands, and I mentioned that I have a band of my own, Code of Conduct of course, that would love to be a part of this.
The paying would start out low, of course, since it'll be tricky at first to lure people here. But the great thing about this, unlike the Warehouse, is that it's not a church, so people won't have this conversation:
"Wanna come hang out and go to a local show?"
"Sure, where at!?"
"My church."
"Uh... oh... never, uh... never mind."
So, I'm helping this guy, Don is his name, to get this place set up as our "home base" of sorts. We play there when we wanna play there, we don't have to talk to people and hope they say yes. We get gigs, period. This'll be a great starting place for us. ;D

We're all going to have to help as much as we can. This is a big project. The toughest parts are getting this place set up to where it's conducive to shows (stage, non-alcoholic bar for beverages + snacks, lights, seating, etc). I have a lot of experience with architecture and building furniture and stuff from helping my dad, so I can help tackle that part, and I'm sure you guys could most likely help as well. We all have something to bring to the table, so whatever talents you have outside of music could be of help.
Also, I'm gonna tackle the website for this one. We don't have a name for the place or anything, but I'm gonna start some test sites. I have a few ideas in mind.
If anyone else has anything to contribute, let us, know!

I quote Zack, and speak for the rest of the band when I say "Holy shit".
This is going to bring in some epic win, good sirs.
