i realized recently that the post i made in the general board about grunge rock, is just one of hundreds of internal dialouges i experience daily.. so on a psuedo daily basis... sometimes i may just not have anything interesting to say, im going to try and post something that ive been thinking about, and hopefully it will lead to some intelligent conversation... first topic, rockstar autobiographies... i love them, rockers lead some of the most interesting lives and we only hear on a normal basis, maybe 10% of the story.. and thats if we look hard enough... but what saddens me is that more rockstars dont have these memoirs.. it makes sense i suppose.. not everyone can write or has the desire too.. but i love it when a musical artist puts his life story on paper and lets me, teh fan, connect with them on a whole new level... like the lamb of god dvds... i love them cause they are filled with so much back stage and studio antics.. they even on the sacrament dvd went in depth into each members personal lives.. u know, what they do when they arent lamb of god... i love that stuff, anyone else feel the same? OH and if u are into these types of books and such, pick up Slash's new book dubbed... well.. "Slash" and Anthony Kiedis' "Scar Tissue" Two of the best books ive ever read ever...
