Frankly, I never was a fan of grunge. I mean, it's got some neat stuff, we could try to incorporate it, but I never really liked Nirvana.

i just like the rawness of it... its like slash says in his autobiography... theres a difference between playing guitar badly on purpose... for a reason... and just sucking at it

actually they're quite similar. both are made to look or sound like something an amateur could do, but are really works of art.
so yes, it is modern art, but its Dirty, and sloppy.

Ganon, frankly, you're an idiot. Stop trying to sound smarter than you really are. It pisses people off.

Also, henceforth, I refuse to refer to you as Ganon. You're Stephen. That is your given name. For some reason, unlike most people, you can't seem to use that name. Odd.

why do u have to be so confrontational darth steve? u always have to have an opinion and u always have to be right... then u wonder why ppl get so frustrated with u... no one seems to be entitled to an opnion but u, and if they happen to have one... u feel it ur duty to search wikipedia high and low until u find even the most obscure reason they can be wrong... and i still stand by grunge being nothing like modern art... especially cause modern art is just sloppy talentless expression for the sake of making the almighty dollar... the art doesnt really mean anything... they just make up meanings after the fact... grunge is sloppy and doesnt take a whole lot of talent... but grunge artists wear the meanings out on their sleeves.. their isnt any second guessing on who they are and what their art is about cause its all right there in black in white....

ok, i admit you're right on all things you just said.
Art isn't a generalization, its the interpretation by the viewer (or listener) and its an expression of the artist.
So yeah.
I agree.
And i hate myself as much as anyone else.
